We have lost a great person in the family: YS Bharathi

Sakshi Media Group Chairperson YS Bharathi paid tributes to YSR Congress Party political affairs committee member DA Somayajulu at his residence here today. Expressing grief over his loss, she said, "We have lost a great person in the family. He will always be remembered for his services."

Somayajulu, who suffered lung-related disease, breathed his last around 3.14 am today. He had served the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh government as a financial advisor, alongside working as the Deputy Chairman of Agriculture Technology Mission. Also, he has been instrumental in sketching the Arogya Sri scheme during late Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy's government.

Earlier in the day, YSR Congress Party President and Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh assembly YS Jagan Mohan Reddy paid homage to the party advisor and consoled his family members. Along with the party chief, YSRCP Honorary President YS Vijayamma also reached Somayajulu's house and expressed her condolences to the bereaved family members.
