Waiver of loans, interest-free loans to DWACRA groups

Ananthapur: Assuring that all loans of women groups would be waived in a phased manner and make them eligible for zero percent interest bank loans, YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has said that Chandrababu Naidu government has gone back on all promises and diluted all welfare schemes.

Speaking at an interaction with women groups at Dhaniani Cheruvu on Tuesday, he said,  when our government is formed with your blessings, I will take the responsibility of getting your loans waived and see to it that banks would again put your groups on active list besides reviving interest free loans to women groups.

Chandrababu Naidu in his four year term did not waive a single loan and there has been no protection to women in TDP term but the trend would be changed and women would be getting their rightful place in the society.

The law and order situation has worsened in the TDP regime and there has been no protection to women as the atrocities are on the rise and the predators are being protected by the leadership itself. When a dalit woman was disrobed, the chief minister had shown his indifference, so was the case when a woman official was assaulted by a TDP leader and a student committed suicide in the University.

All DWACRA loans would be waived in a phased manner which would enable the groups to apply for fresh loans and the interest free loan scheme would be revived, he said.
We will ensure that all families live in peace and see to it that prohibition would be implemented in a phased manner while Chandrababu Naidu has been encouraging sale of cheap liquor through belt shops by increasing their number, he said.

To improve the standard of living and happiness among the families, steps would be taken up. While Chandrababu Naidu has not built any houses, our government will build houses and register them in the name of the housewife, which would be useful in the times of contingencies.

After we come to power, we will first implement the fees reimbursement scheme in an effective manner and cover the total expenditure as the present dispensation is belatedly giving only Rs 35, 000 while the actual cost crosses the Rs one lakh mark pushing the parents into debts.

Besides total fees reimbursement Rs 20,000 would be paid annually to students for hostel and mess charges and under Amma Vodi scheme Rs 15,000 would be credited to the mothers account for the education of her two children.

Pension have become a farce with the intervention of Janma Bhoomi Committees and the trend would be changed by allotting Rs 2,000 to all and the age would be reduced to 45 years for weaker sections and minorities, he said.
