22 Dec 2018 12:10 PM

Delhi: The Visakhapatnam-Yeshwantpur weekly train service is all set to resume from January and extend till April 2019. On Friday, YSR Congress party MP Vijayasai Reddy raised questions in the House regarding the train. He demanded to know why the train service had been stopped if there was a huge demand on that route? Responding to the question, Union Minister of Railways Piyush Goyal replied that railways always runs special trains, considering the demand.
The special service between Visakhapatnam-Yeshwanthpur will be back in January till April. Taking into consideration factors like operation costs and manpower in hand, special services are run during peak seasons and holidays. To handle the increasing passengers rush in the Visakhapatnam - Yeshwantpur route, the special train will be added to the already running 16 train services.
