Vijayamma resents comments against YSR

Hyderabad, Dec 3, 2012:
YSR Congress legislature party leader and honorary president Smt. Y. S.
Vijayamma challenged the Government to seek an enquiry by a Supreme Court judge
if it had any doubts into the regime of Dr. YSR.

Participating in the final
debate on the SC, ST sub plan bill before it was adopted by the assembly on
Sunday, Smt. Vijayamma took umbrage to the remarks of Chief Minister Kiran
Kumar Reddy and TDP member Revanth Reddy.

Dr. YSR is not in a
position to answer the criticism and sarcasm leveled by ruling and opposition
members in the House. The members are making allegations and comments about a
person who is not in the House and can’t answer the comments. I am deeply
hurt,” she told the House.

Replying to the debate
on the bill, Kiran Kumar Reddy said in a sarcastic vein that the Government has
only been trying to fill the coffers of the state exchequer and not his personal
coffers. Participating in the debate, TDP member Revanth Reddy repeated his
accusation that Dr. YSR had allotted Bayyaram mines to his son-in-law during
his period.

While reacting to the
CM’s reply to the debate at the instance of Speaker Nadendla Manohar,
Smt.Vijayamma had objected to the remarks. “Are the CM’s remarks aimed at whom?
Is it proper to make sarcastic comments against YSR who is not in the House?
Revanth Reddy has also talked about the allotment of Bayyaram mines to YSR’s
son-in-law. These comments have hurt me. If you have any doubts on YSR’s rule,
you can seek an enquiry by a Supreme Court judge,” Smt. Vijayamma told the
House.

Again, Revanth Reddy
uttered a few words that hurt Smt. Vijayamma forcing the YSR Congress members
to move into the well objecting to the remarks. But the members resumed their
seats and kept the decorum of the House following an appeal by Nadendla
Manohar.
