YSRCP senior leaders and presidents of Vijayawada and Machilipatnam MP constituency units Samineni Udayabhanu and K Partha Sarathy have strongly criticized what they called the attempts of the Telugu Desam Government to snuf out dissent and muzzle the voice of the social media activists.
Addressing a mediaconference at Vijayawada on Thursday, they said that the TDP government was foisting cases against social media organizer Nagababu. They said he was arrested for highlighting the massive corruption and irregularities in Amaravati and for exposing the misdeeds of the TDP leaders.
They said that the case was foisted under pressure from Pamarru MLA Uppuleti Kalpana. They said that it was under her pressure that the police have registered an SC, ST Atrocities Case against Naga Babu. Party Pamarru incharge Kaila Anil Kumar was also present.
