Kurnool: Exodus from other parties continue in Kurnool. Leaders from the TDP and Congress parties have been switching their loyalties to the YSRCP in the district. In a latest development, many TDP and Congress leaders from Gangella village of Gonegandla mandal in Yemmiganur constituency have joined the YSRCP.
They said that they are being attracted towards the YSRCP due to YS Jagan's fight for people and his commitment to achieve special status for Andhra Pradesh. They joined the YSRCP under the leadership of MPP Nasaruddin and Tirumal Reddy in the presence of former MLA Chennakesava Reddy.
Speaking on the occasion, Chennakesava Reddy said that they are joining the YSRCP as they fed up with Congress and TDP's stand on the special status and their deceiving politics.
He alleged that the State and Central governments have cheated 5 crore people of Andhra Pradesh by ignoring the promise of special status,
He called upon the people to work towards making YS Jagan as chief minister of Andhra Pradesh.
