Speaker rejects adjourment notices

Hyderabad,
Sept 18, 2012: Opposition parties gave notices for adjournment motions on
various issues on the second day of the 5-day monsoon session of the assembly
today. Speaker Nadendla Manohar, however, rejected all the notices.
While
YSR Congress Party gave notice for an adjournment motion on the power crisis,
TRS and BJP served adjournment notices on the issue of Telangana. TDP too gave
similar notice seeking dismissal of tainted ministers who are involved in
various scams.
Adjournment
notices were served on issues of capping the subsidized cooking gas supply,
excise problems and release of water to the left canal of the Nagarjuna Sagar
project by the MIM, CPI and CPM respectively.
