Silent Protest At Tank Bund
20 Aug 2016 1:33 PM

Hyderabad: As a protest against TRS Government's anti-constitutional ways, TYSRCP held an agitation. The party expressed discontent about not inviting TYSRCP to the all-party meeting organised by the Government regarding extending the number of districts in Telangana from 10 to 21. TYSRCP president Gattu Srikanth Reddy and general secretaries Konda Raghava Reddy and Siva Kumar held a silent protest at BR Ambedkar's statue on the Tank Bund.
Speaking on this occasion, Gattu Srikanth Reddy complained that KCR's rule was all fake. He commented that the districts of the state were being reorganised only out of his political ill-intention and opined that the issue of the reorganisation would not stand in the court of law. He slammed KCR for absorbing the MP and three MLAs who had won from TYSRCP and defected that party later. He challenged KCR to make the MLAs resign and win in by-elections.
TYSRP leaders commented that KCR was performing Tughlaq's rule. KCR breached the constitutional indication that all the parties recognised by the Elections Commission would be invited for all-party meetings. This is drawing negative criticism.
