Hyderabad: TYSRCP president Gattu Srikanth Reddy demanded immediate withdrawal of hike in electricity and RTC charges by Telangana Government. Speaking to the media at Hyderabad, he opined that it was atrocious to impose such high charges on people.
KCR's Government has already given green signal to the increase of RTC and electricity charges. Hike will be reflected on the consumers with more than 100 units of power consumption and RTC charges will be seen increased by Rs.2 for more than 30 kms of journey. In other buses, 10% hike of charges will apply. Official orders may be issued in this direction on Thursday.
