Sharmila resumes Padayatra from Turkayamjal

Hyderabad, Feb 6, 2013:
Smt. Y. S. Sharmila resumed her Maro Praja Prasthanam Padayatra from
Turkayamjal in Hayatnagar Mandalam of Ranga Reddy district today as thousands
of people followed her.

Sharmila began her
walkathon from SSR Gardens near Turkayamjal and will pass through the villages
of Ragannaguda, Manneguda Cross Roads, Bongluru, Mangalpally, Seriguda covering
a distance of 15.5 km. At the end of the day’s schedule, Smt. Sharmila will address
a public meeting at Ibrahimpatnam.

Before setting off for
the Padayatra, an all religious prayer meeting was held at her Lotus Pond
residence here where pundits blessed her.

Smt. Sharmila has resumed
Maro Praja Prasthanam Padayatra after temporarily suspending it on Dec 15, 2012
for a ligament injury she sustained the day before. She underwent a keyhole
operation on Dec 18 and was medically declared fit to resume the Yatra. 

YSR Congress Party honourary president Smt. Y.S.Vijayamma and Smt. Y.S.Bharati also accompanied her during the Padayatra.
