Attack on CJI under Sanatana Dharma veil, shameful

Tadepalli, October 6: Shinganamala YSRCP Coordinator and former Minister Sake Shailajanath strongly condemned the attack on Chief Justice of India, Justice B.R. Gavai. He said that attempts to justify such acts in the name of Sanatana Dharma are dangerous and must be opposed.

Speaking at the Party’s Central Office in Tadepalli, Shailajanath said it was disturbing that even after 75 years of independence, Dalits continue to face humiliation. He expressed anguish that some cannot tolerate Dalits rising to the highest constitutional positions.
He demanded strict punishment against advocate Kishore, who attempted to hurl a shoe at Justice Gavai inside the courtroom. “If caste arrogance drives attacks even on the Chief Justice of India, what safety can ordinary citizens expect?” he asked.

Shailajanath warned that downplaying such incidents only damages democracy and public trust in the judiciary. He called on the people to strongly condemn the attack and urged authorities to ensure exemplary punishment.

He firmly stated that violence or humiliation in the name of caste, religion, language, or region has no place in a civilized society.
