Sharmila to enter EG Dt on 4

1, 2013: Smt. Y.S. Sharmila, who has been undertaking Maro Praja Prasthanam
Padayatra on behalf of YSR Congress party chief Sri Y.S.
Jagan Mohan Reddy, will step into East Godavari District on June 4.
During a period of 20
days, Smt. Sharmila will walk a distance of 275 km in 13 assembly
constituencies in the district. She will enter into the EG district by crossing
the bridge at Kovvuru, according to Padayatra convener Talasila Raghu Ram.
She has walked through
9 districts before beginning her Padayatra in WG district in which the Maro
Praja Prasthanam is going on presently. EG district will be the 11th
district to be covered by her.
Sharmila
unveils YSR statue
Meanwhile, Smt.
Sharmila unveiled a YSR statue at Palangi in West Godavari district on the 166th
day on Saturday.
Later, she resumed the
Padayatra as thousands of people followed her. Spread over a distance of 14.5
km, Undrajavaram, Morta, Dammenu, Nadipally Kota, Kanuru X road and Munipally
are listed on the day’s schedule of her Padayatra.
Smt. Sharmila, who
walked a distance of 12.2 km on 165th day on Friday, has so far
covered a distance of 2180.2 km of her Padayatra.
