Rs 4-meal in Rajanna Canteens

Mangalagiri: YSR Congress party MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy on Sunday launched Rajanna Canteens in Mangalagiri constituency. Rajanna canteens will supply meals for Rs 4.

The YSRCP MLA from Mangalagiri in Guntur district launched the scheme from May 14, coinciding with the day on which people's leader late Y S Rajasekhar Reddy took over as the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh in 2004.

The Rajanna canteen has rice, curry, dal and egg for four days a week, banana for rest of the three days. Besides, chips will be served in 3 centres for 10 days each. The meals will be provided from 12 pm everyday.

The canteen was inaugurated by Alla Ramakrishna Reddy at Ambedkar statute in the Gautama Buddha Road on Sunday afternoon.

 The meals will be served for first ten days at Ambedkar statue, next ten days at Midde centre and the last ten days will be at Vundavalli centre.
