Roja Smells A Conspiracy In Tirumala Closure In August

Tirumala: YSR Congress party MLA RK Roja on Monday said that it irregularities at the Lord Venkateswara temple were evident after the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) board announced its decision to ban devotees inside the temple for a week next month.

In the wake of questions being raised by former TTD chief priest Ramana Deekshitulu on the missing diamonds from the sanctum sanctorum of the ancient shrine, the latest decision by TTD confirm seems like a conspiracy, she said.

The YSRCP MLA said doubts were raised after the cameras inside the shrine were not functional while excavations were carried out inside the shrine. Ever since Putta Sudhakar Yadav took charge as the TTD chairman, the temple has been revolving around various controversies, she remarked.
