The poor and the destitute find a new ray of hope in YS Jagan. They believe that he will transform their lives. Hence, the poor, the infirm and the disabled are mustering all their strength and are trekking long distances to meet YS Jagan. They want to see the son of YS Rajasekhara Reddy. They still remember the good things that YSR did for them. They want the touch of warmth, the kiss of affection and the pat of reassurance from YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
The womenfolk are gathering in large number to greet YS Jagan and express their solidarity with him. The huge crowds defying inclement weather and waiting on tree tops, roads, buildings and every conceivable place stand testimony to the hope they have on YS Jagan.
Though Chandragiri constituency in Chittoor is close to CM Chandrababu’s home turf, development is non-existent there. The people are now realizing that Chandrababu Naidu has duped them fair and square with his election promises. Especially, the people of Chandragiri are thoroughly disenchanted with the TDP. As a result, lot of people are leaving the ruling TDP and are joining the YSRCP.
On Saturday, the Day 63 of the Praja Sankalpa Yatra local sarpanch, former sarpanch and several ward members of Nettakuppam joined the YSRCP. The public meeting on Saturday drew unprecedented response. Speaking on the occasion, YS Jagan ridiculed the TDP for talking about extending Arogya Sri to treatment in Hyderabad also only with 2019 elections in mind.
Meanwhile, the Praja Sankalpa Yatra is inching closer to 1000 km mark amid unprecedented enthusiasm and frenzied support.
