No respect for farmers in TDP rule

Kakinada: YSR Congress party (YSRCP) leader Anam Ramnarayan Reddy said Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu forged an alliance with the Congress party, which wrought irreparable damage to the State with the bifurcation. Addressing the 'Vanchana Pai Garjana' meeting here today, he lambasted the TDP government for failing to build a single permanent structure in Amaravati.
He added that Chandrababu turned Amaravati to a place where it could be given a postal pin code.
Former minister and YSRCP leader Mopidevi Venkataramana said Chandrababu ignored the farmers, youth and the women in the State, while former MP Vara Prasad recalled Chandrababu's mockery of the YSRCP's call for the Special Category Status (SCS). Chandrababu, who doesn't have the mettle to go alone in the polls, compromised on the State's bifurcation promises, he added.
Speaking at the meeting, YSRCP MLA Anil Kumar Yadav said actor-politician Pawan Kalyan was in such a state that he can't claim that he is a brother of mega star Chiranjeevi. He is claiming to be a police constable's son only to gain votes in the election, he added.
"Pawan Kalyan is the only leader who mentions his caste in every public meeting. Not only does he act in movies, he is acting in politics too," he commented.
