MLA Furious About Contempt Of Protocol
16 Apr 2016 12:15 PM

Chittoor (Madanapalle): The convassing formality of a ruling party MLA caused protocol-related controversy. Dr.Desai Tippareddy, the MLA of Madanapalle, was not given the least importance in the initiation of the Government's welfare schemes. The 'House For All' scheme prestigiously devised by the Central Government was initiated at the local municipal office. On the inauguration stone of the event, the MLA was not given proper prominence according to protocol regulations. Being the MLA of the constituency, his name was supposed to be the first on the plate but it was the eighth in the row. The names of the people who were not important as per protocol regulations were placed first through misuse of power and influence. MLA Desai Tippareddy expressed his extreme displeasure towards this incident. He demanded explanation from housing EE Rajendra Kumar and D.Muniswar Naidu. As they could not properly answer him, he stated that he could take action under Contempt of Protocol law. Reports were also sent to sub-collector and Lokayukta.
