30 Dec 2017 9:42 PM
The victims of Keshava Reddy educational institutions called on YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy during his padayatra in Chittoor district and pleaded with the leader to come to their rescue as the school management did not return money deposited.
A woman from Kothapalli village explained her woes to YSR Congress leader. She told the leader that the school management took Rs 2.50 lakh as deposit and joined her children in the school. After announcing closure of the institutions, her money was not returned and children also lost their studies.
Another women group also met YS Jagan and explained their plights in getting fresh loans due to non waiver of DWACRA loans for the last four years by the government. Banks also imposed Rs 2 interest on the loans for the delay in the repayment. YS Jagan assured the waiver of all loans including interest in four installments once his party comes to power.
