Saluru: YSRCP MLA and member of Central Governance Council, Peedika Rajannadora, complained about irregularities that had taken place in the conduction of elections for Saluru Co-operative Urban Bank on the 11th of May and stated that they had approached the High Court regarding this issue, as the elections officer had not taken any action in spite of repeated pleas. He stated that certain defaulters also had contested in the elections.
Speaking to the media at Saluru of Vizianagaram district, he stated that while the voters' list had 3,750 persons, more than 300 of them had been dead. He complained that checking the voters' list accuracy also had not happened here. Rajannadora specified that even defaulters had not been announced. Also, he complained that the rule objecting bank employees' relatives from contesting in the elections had been violated. He mentioned that he hence had decided to go for a legal fight.
