Kovvuru: The YSRCP Leaders were travelling extensively in rain affected regions. The Nellore district was badly hit due to continuous rains since five days. The party leaders inspected the crops hit by the floods in Kovvuru and consoled the farmers. They also visited the 300 acres betel leaf farm that was totally damaged in Enamadugu village.
The leaders requested the Government to announce compensation to the farmers and help them immediately. The YSRCP MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy, State Chief Secretary Nallapureddi Prasanna Kumar Reddy, ZP Chairman Raghavendra Reddy and other party activists participated in this tour.
