God’s Grace, People’s Love And Blessings Will Protect Me: YS Jagan

Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Assembly and YSR Congress party (YSRCP) Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, in a tweet, attributed his providential escape in a dangerous attack on his life in the Visakhapatnam Airport to God's grace and the love, concern and blessings of the people of Andhra Pradesh. The YSRCP Chief said that he would not be cowed down by such cowardly acts and they would not dissuade him from his goal to serve the people of the State.

In fact, they would only serve to strengthen his resolve to work for the people of AP, he tweeted. It may be recalled that while the Leader of Opposition was seated in the premium lounge at the airport this afternoon, Janipalli Srinivasa Rao, a waiter in Fusion Foods at the airport, approached YS Jagan seeking a selfie with him. With a bottle in his hand and a knife behind it, the culprit attacked the YSRCP Chief as he rose from the chair he was seated in.

"To everyone worried about my safety - I’d like to inform you that I am safe. God's grace and the love, concern & blessings of the people of Andhra Pradesh will protect me. Such cowardice acts will not dissuade me but only strengthen my resolve to work for the people of my state!," read his tweet.
