Full details of YS Jagan's Praja Sankalpa Yatra

YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's Praja Sankalpa Yatra would begin on November 6 at 11.00 AM from Idupulapaya and the odyssey would culminate at Ichchapuram covering 125 assembly constituencies in a space of six months covering a distance of 3,000 km.

The remaining 50 constituencies would be covered through Bus Yatra to complete the 13 districts of the state, they said.
Reaching out to the unreached is the motto of the Yatra and during first four months Rachcha Banda and Palle Nidra are the two programmes which would concurrently run to involve people in the mass movement.

The main aim is to visit every household in the constituency, listen to their needs, tell them about the failure of Chandrababu Naidu government and highlight policies and  promises of our Party which would benefit all sections of people bereft of any affiliations. The Rachcha Banda (meeting place in villages) programme would be used to interact with locals. The Palle Nidra is a programme where the coordinators would sleep in the house of a local which would invariably belong to weaker sections.

Infusing novelty into the programme YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has directed that constituency wise election manifestos would be drafted which would be discussed with locals and based on the inputs and data, the issues would be incorporated in the final election manifesto.

He has also directed the coordinators to hold at least two meetings in the local Engineering and Medical Colleges involving the students with special thrust on Special Category Status, they said.

En route, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy would be interacting with people at 5,000 points decided by the local coordinators, address meetings of about 180 social organizations and address 125 public meetings during the course of the Yatra interacting with 45 lakh families. There would also be road shows, flag hoisting besides addressing party workers.

The routine schedule would be interacting with visitors from 8.00 to 8.30 AM and the Padayatra would begin till 12.00 noon. There would be another session of meeting visitors from 3.00 to 3.30 PM before resuming the Paraja Sankalpa Yatra.

The Padayatra would take shape into a peoples movement with their active participation and the 180-day mass contact programme would roll out after YS Jagan Mohan Reddy worships at Tirupati and embarks upon the Yatra from Idupulapaya on November 6.
