Elect a leader who works like YSR: Jagan

Parvathipuram (Vizianagaram district) April 2, 2014:
Asking people to elect as Chief Minister a leader who listens to the heart beat
of the people, YSR Congress Party President Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy said the
state is in need of a credible leader who can implement the welfare policies in
right earnest as YSR did.

Addressing a largely attended YSR
Jana Bheri public meeting at Parvathipuram in Vizianagaram district on
Wednesday, he said TDP President Chandrababu Naidu has betrayed the cause of
Telugu people by joining hands with Congress President Sonia and allowing
division of the state in the most injudicious manner.

Taking objection to Naidu’s
remarks Jagan Mohan Reddy said “Naidu backstabbed people by supporting the
anti-people regime of Kiran Kumar Reddy all these years and extending his
unstinted support to the plethora of taxes imposed on people.

Promising people that he is
committed to restore the welfare state of the YSR, he said, soon after coming
to power, he would first sign the files relating to Amma Vodi, Pensions to old,
disabled, agricultural prices stabilization fund, waiver of DWCRA loans,
administration at the door step of the people, housing for the poor,
restructuring of the Arogyasree Scheme, super specialty hospitals in all
districts, 7-hour free power supply during day time for farmers, removal of
belt shops and appointment of women as village policewomen, power supply to the
poor at Rs.100 up to 150 units a month and providing employment to all youth.

He introduced to the people the
party candidates for the Paravatipuram assembly and Araku LS seats Prasanna and
Kothapalli Geeta respectively and asked them to cast their franchise in their
favour during the ensuing elections.
