Corruption in AP hits an all-time high

YSR Congress party (YSRCP) MLC Alla Nani criticized the Andhra Pradesh government for growing corruption which had hit an all-time high in the last four years. Speaking to media here at the party office here at Ashok Nagar in Dendeluru constituency along with party Parliamentary constituency In-charge Kotagiri Sridhar and Dendeluru convenor Kotharu Abbaiah today, he questioned the government as to why no action was taken on TDP MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar, who attacked a Dalit daily wage labour.

"What progress did the TDP do in West Godavari district, in which the party won 15 seats? Did the government bring in any irrigation project in the district? The TDP leaders are exploiting all the natural resources like sand and coal across the district. Why is Chandrababu not responding to the corruption charges in Polavaram project works?" he demanded to know. Alla Nani predicted that the YSRCP would win all the 15 Assembly constituencies and two Parliament constituencies in the district in upcoming elections.
