Complaint filed against Nandamuri Balakrishna

Hyderabad: Lawyers’ JAC registered a complaint against TDP MLA and film actor Nandamuri Balakrishna in Hyderabad for delivering woman-demeaning statements. This complaint was filed in Saroor Nagar police station.

He made these offensive comments when he spoke on the occasion of the audio release of actor Nara Rohit’s new movie ‘Savitri’. In his speech, he said “Audience will not accept if I take up a role where I go behind girls. Kissing or making a girl pregnant has to happen. Committing to one is important”. The lawyers stated that this sort of statements against women were not to be excused.
