Idupulapaya, YSR Kadapa dist, Sept 2: The state has witnessed perhaps for the first time a chief minister trying to wriggle out of a corruption case and using high offices in the process setting aside the state issues, Leader of Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has said. Speaking to media here on Friday he said: ‘may be this is the first time in the country that a person in the capacity of a chief minister was caught red-handed in a corruption case. Not just that he is making attempts to wriggle out of the case using high offices, he has been also constantly thinking in terms of saving his skin at the cost of peoples’ welfare.
He has been placing his personal priorities ahead of the state interests. Immediately after the ACB court issues a directive, his associate Sujana Choudhary meets BJP President Amit Shah, Union Ministers Venkaiah Naidu and Arun Jaitley at Delhi and rushes to Hyderabad to meet the Governor. He tells the media that has held discussions on special status. What is baffling is that in what way Raj Bhavan is concerned with special status. Chandrababu Naidu governance has been involved in making money through various means and trying to cover up the misdeeds through high offices, he said.
