Chandrababu is the mastermind behind attack on YS Jagan

Official spokesperson of the YSR Congress party (YSRCP) Ambati Rambabu slammed the Chandrababu Naidu government for coming out with a GO refusing official consent to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in probing any matter in Andhra Pradesh. Addressing the media at the party office here, the senior YSRCP leader demanded that the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister should spell out his reasons for impeding a CBI investigation into any issue.

Ambati Rambabu added that Chandrababu Naidu had arrived at this decision to block any CBI probe right after the YSRCP led by its senior leaders met President Ramnath Kovind and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on the murder attempt on Leader of Opposition in AP Legislative Assembly and YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

The senior YSRCP leader further said that Chandrababu Naidu was the mastermind behind the pre-meditated attack on YS Jagan in the VIP lounge of Visakhapatnam airport on October 25. The fact that he is quaking at the mention of CBI proves this, Ambati Rambabu added.

The official spokesperson of the party also questioned Chandrababu Naidu government's silence on Operation Garuda and wondered as to why it did not attempt to probe such a serious conspiracy. The senior YSRCP leader also said that so far, Chandrababu Naidu has successfully evaded inquiries and has amassed thousands of crores looting the State indiscriminately.

Ambati Rambabu further posed a direct question to Chandrababu as to whether he had the moral courage to say that he was ready face any probe. He pointed out that all were equal in the eyes of the law, be it a Prime Minister or Chief Minister, and that they had to work within the framework of the Constitution. Ambati Rambabu wondered whether an individual who had no respect for Constitutional bodies was fit to hold Office in the first place.
