Vijayawada: YSR Congress Party leader Malladi Vishnu questioned Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for distributing money to voters in Nandyal Assembly by- election and Kakinada Municipal corporation election when his government claimed people were happy with welfare and developmental programmes launched in the state.
Addressing the media in Vijayawada party office, the YSR Congress leader alleged that Chandrababu has no guts to seek votes as the CM failed on all fronts. Fearing the defeat, the TDP leader resorted to missing of power and distributed money to win the election.
He ridiculed Chandrababu's comments in the just concluded party leaders meeting held in Vijayawada. His claim that 80 percent of people backed the party was absurd. In the reality, people vexed with the Chandrababu's anti people governance.
Vishnu pointed out that TDP did not require to lure voters with money and tall promises if the party enjoyed people support in the just concluded elections.
