CBI to probe Naidu - IMG links: CM
10 Oct 2012 2:07 AM
In what is seen as a morale degrader for the TDP
president Chandrababu Naidu, chief minister Kirankumar Reddy disclosed that CBI
would soon start probing the irregularities in land allotment to the IMG Academies
Bharata Pvt Ltd which took place during the Naidu’s regime.
Speaking at a public meeting at Addandki in Prakasam
district last night as part of his on-going Indiramma Bata, Kiran Kumar said Naidu
as Chief Minister had allotted 450 acres of land to IMG Bharata at Rs.50,000
per acre though the actual cost of the allotted land was around Rs.1 Cr. per
acre.
Revealing
that CBI is going to take up the probe against Naidu as per the court
directions, Kiran Kumar charged the former chief minister of being most
corrupt.
“Naidu has
been claiming during his Padayatra that Congress Governments have been
resorting to corruption but in fact he is the most corrupt among all the chief
ministers who ruled AP. He allotted 450 acres of land to IMG Bharata at
Gachibowli at a cheap rate of Rs.50,000 despite the rate being Rs.1 Cr per
acre,” Kiran said, adding CBI will soon start probing the land allotment by
Naidu.
Naidu’s BC declaration bogus
Slamming
Naidu for his criticism of the Congress Government, Kiran Kumar described TDP’s
BC declaration as bogus. “Naidu’s nine year rule has proved his BC declaration
as false,” he told journalists at Chirala earlier.
