Botcha has no right to criticize YSRCP MLAs: Gattu

YSRCP spokesperson Gattu Ramachandra Rao speaking to reporters at the party central office on Friday
Hyderabad, July 26,
2013: YSR Congress on Friday clarified that the party MLAs had resigned from
the Assembly on their own protesting against the Congress stand on the
Telangana issue.
YSRCP spokesperson
Gattu Ramachadra Rao told reporters here that Congress leadership has been misleading
the people of the two regions in the state without disclosing its stand on the
Telangana issue.
He faulted PCC Chief
Botcha Satyanarayana for criticizing the resignations of the YSRCP MLAs who
quit the assembly opposing the Congress stand on Telangana. “But, when the
Ministers are getting ready to quit, he says it is their individual decision,”
Gattu observed.
Congress has no right
to seek the views of other political parties on the issue without first
disclosing its view, he said and asked: “Why didn’t the Congress disclose its
stand on Telangana till now? Will Telangana state be formed if the issue is
discussed in the CWC?”
He accused the Congress
of delaying solution to the Telangana tangle further after delaying it for
several years.
