'Betrayal Day' to expose Chandrababu's failures
24 Apr 2018 2:14 PM

YSR Congress Party will observe 'Betrayal Day ' on April 30 in Visakhapatnam against the TDP government' s failure in respecting the sentiments of Andhra people on special status issue.
Speaking to newsmen, party senior leader and MLA Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy alleged Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu deceived people by making 600 toll promises. On April 30, 2014, the CM, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu made the promise of grating special status to Andhra for 15 years. After coming to power, all the leaders left AP People into the lurch.
In a scathing attack, Peddireddy said Chandrababu did not fulfill any promise including loan waiver, unemployment dole etc. The TDP Chief accepted the centre's special package in lieu of special status only for commissions. After realizing people revolted against him, Chandrababu took U turn and playing political dramas on special status.
