Balineni threatens to
approach Privileges Committee
Ongole, Oct 12, 2012:
Ongole YSRCP MLA and party whip in the assembly Balineni Srinivasa Reddy
threatened on Thursday he would lodge a complaint to the House Privileges
committee over his not being invited to the CM’s programmes in the district.
Srinivasa Reddy said he
has not been invited for any of the CM’s programmes in the district and would
take the issue to the notice of the Privileges Committee.
Perturbed by the threat
of Srinivasa Reddy, district in-charge minister Sailaja Nath sought an
explanation from the District Collector over the issue. But the Collector said
vaguely officials have sent invitations to all people’s representatives without
going into details.
Even CM Kiran Kumar
Reddy was also questioned by journalists at his press conference over Srinivasa
Reddy not being invited for the review meeting.
