Balineni demands installation of YSR statue in Parliament

Ongole YSR Congress party MLA and party whip in the assembly Balineni Srinivasa
Reddy on Thursday demanded the installation of Dr. YSR’s statue in the
Parliament premises.

Welcoming the Lok Sabha
Speaker Meira Kumar’s decision to install the statue of NTR in the Parliament,
Srinivasa Reddy told reporters here that Dr. YSR’s statue also should be installed
in the Parliament premises for the services he rendered to the people.

Balineni said that TDP president
Chandrababu Naidu has been in cahoots with Congress Government and has come to
an understanding with it on extending support to it. As part of the deal between
the TDP and Congress, Naidu has promised not to introduce no-confidence motion
against the Government while the Government has been paving the way for handing
over the Obulapuram Mines to SR Minerals.
