Ahead of Supreme Court
hearing on the bail petition of YSR Congress president Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy on
Friday, party rank and file spent whole day today across the state offering
special pujas and prayers and conducting Padayatras seeking his release from
jail.
Local leaders and
activists of the party at Guntur, Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Karimnagar, Khammam,
Srikakulam, Chittor and other towns visited important temples and worshipped
the Gods seeking bail to Jagan and his release from jail.
While women activists
of the party worshipped the Lord Narasimha Swamy in Khammam, party youth wing
members offered 1101 coconuts as Naivedyam to the Sun God at the most revered
Sun temple at Arasavalli in Srikakulam praying for bail for Jagan.
Party activists and
leaders took out rallies in some areas in Hyderabad and Karimnagar and offered
special Pujas in temples.
Women activists of the
party also broke 1101 coconuts at Goddess Kanakadurga temple at Sattupadu in
West Godavari district.
Reports of the party
activists and leaders worshiping Gods and taking out Padayatras are also
pouring in from different parts of the state.
