Vijayawada: Former MLA Vellampalli Srinivasrao on Monday said that the ruling TDP is dictating terms to the BJP party in Andhra Pradesh. Vellampali, who resigned from the BJP recently, has said that he would join the principal opposition party - YSRCP in the presence of YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on December 13.
Lauding Jagan Mohan Reddy for fighting the State government's anti-people's policies, the former MLA said that he would continue his political career by extending support the YSRCP party.
He alleged that the BJP high command is suspending the leaders when questioned on the injustice in the TDP regime. Even though the TDP leaders making criticism against the BJP leaders, there is no response or reaction from the State BJP leaders, he said. "Recently, senior TDP leader Bonda Uma termed Prime Minister Narendra Modi a Tuglaq," he said.
Nannapaneni Rajakumari, Muddkrishnam Naidu, Rayapati Sambasiva Rao were among other leaders who continue to make remarks against the BJP top brass, Vellampalli added.
