Hyderabad, Aug 28, 2012 : The 3-day YSRCP protest against the government’s failure to solve the severe power crisis in the state began across all Mandals today.
Thousands of party activists have protested in front of the MRO offices and raised slogans against the government. The activists demanded the government to remove long power cuts and restore proper power supply to the farmers and other sections.
Local leaders who addressed them charged that the people are forced to suffer because of the inefficient administration of the government.
YSRCP activists held protests and rallies in all major towns in several districts including Vijayawada, Ongole, Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, Ananthapuram, Kadapa, Kurnool and Rajahmundry.
The programme will continue for three days culminating in a state wide bandh on Aug 31.
