*TTD reduced to ‘Immoral Chairman’ shielded by Chandrababu: Bhumana*

Tirupati, March 22: YSRCP State Official Spokesperson and former TTD Chairman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy launched a scathing attack on the coalition government, demanding the immediate removal of TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu, that his conduct has severely damaged the sanctity and reputation of Tirumala. Speaking to the media at his residence in Tirupati, Bhuman criticised Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for shielding an “unfit and immoral individual,” stating that appointing such a person as TTD Chairman is a historic mistake that has tarnished the sacred abode of Lord Venkateswara and deeply hurt Hindu sentiments. He said that despite widespread outrage and even appeals from women against Naidu’s appointment, Chandrababu remained unmoved, and no amount of ritual purification can undo this “sin.”

Bhuman stated that B.R. Naidu’s actions and behavior have instilled fear and anger within the Hindu community, yet the Chief Minister has shown no response, allowing the dignity of TTD to be reduced to a public spectacle. He criticized Naidu’s conduct during Chandrababu’s recent Tirumala visit, stating that the Chairman moved around “fearfully and without dignity,” even being denied basic protocol respect at the Mahadwaram, highlighting how far the institution has fallen under his leadership. He further said the administration of TTD has collapsed due to a complete lack of coordination between the governing body and officials, who no longer take the Chairman seriously given his conduct and the political protection he enjoys.

He stated that B.R. Naidu is clinging to his position solely to influence the upcoming Jubilee Hills Society elections on April 5, where his son is contesting, misusing VIP darshan privileges to appease voters, which he termed unprecedented and disgraceful in TTD’s history. Bhumana also pointed out that the FSSAI technology lab inaugurated recently was actually initiated during the Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy government, when he served as Chairman along with EO Dharma Reddy, and Chandrababu falsely claiming credit while sidelining officials who worked on the project.

Demanding accountability, Bhumana said B.R. Naidu must be immediately removed for his “indecent and disgraceful actions,” and Chandrababu Naidu must apologise to devotees for hurting religious sentiments. He called for a probe into the misuse of VIP darshan quotas and asserted that both Chandrababu and B.R. Naidu have betrayed the faith of devotees. Stating that the YSRCP will continue its agitation, he made it clear that the party will not rest until B.R. Naidu resigns and justice is delivered.
