Srikakulam: Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh legislative assembly and YSR Congress party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy released a book which exposes the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) government's irregularities and fund transfers to dubious persons in the last four years with proofs. YS Jagan said that Nara Chandrababu Naidu stashed away a sum of Rs 6 lakh crore since assuming power in 2014. Titled 'Avineethi Chakravarthi', a reference to Chandrababu Naidu, the book was released during YS Jagan's Praja Sankalpa Yatra in the district on Saturday. Addressing the media after the release, the YSRCP Chief said that the book contained details of TDP's corrupt and unjust practices while supplementing with evidence like GO numbers. With a view to spread the reality of Chandrababu's corruption at the national stage, the book will be handed over to the President, the Prime Minister, MPs, Chief Ministers of other States, Governors and all investigating agencies, he announced. "Chandrababu Naidu stashed a sum of Rs 6, 17,585 crore." Speaking on the occasion, party leader Thammineni Seetharam challenged the TDP leaders to reject the contents of the book. Recalling the national media reports that found Chandrababu as the richest CM in the country, he asked 'Avineethi Chakravarthi' Chandrababu to release a white paper on the book. "This book is a charge-sheet on Chandrababu government. There is a need for a national debate on Chandrababu's corruption and Polavaram project. He is trying to mislead people with his lies," he added |
