*Coalition govt betrays employees and pensioners*

Tadepalli, July 11: YSRCP Employees and Pensioners Wing State President Nalamaaru Chandrasekhar Reddy strongly criticised the coalition government, stating that it has trampled upon the rights of employees and pensioners and failed to implement even a single promise made to them during the elections. Addressing the media at the party central office in Tadepalli on July 11, 2026, he said that even after 25 months in power, the government has not fulfilled its assurances to employees, pensioners, contract workers and outsourcing staff.

Chandrasekhar Reddy said the government promised a favourable environment for employees before the elections, but has now pushed them to the streets. Key issues such as CPS, GPS, PRC, IR, DAs, pension benefits and arrears have all been kept pending, causing deep disappointment among employees. He said the government is deliberately delaying payments and cheating employees instead of resolving their long-pending concerns.

He stated that employees and pensioners are owed nearly Rs. 35,000 crore to Rs. 40,000 crore in arrears. DA arrears, PRC arrears, retirement benefits, medical bills and surrender leave payments are not being cleared on time. Each employee is waiting for nearly Rs. 5 lakh to Rs. 10 lakh in dues, while the health card system has also been weakened, forcing employees and pensioners into hardship.
He further said the government has ignored health cards, retirement benefits and promises made to contract employees. At the same time, it is pushing RTC and other public sector institutions toward privatisation, thereby damaging job security. He said the previous government had merged RTC with the government and gave employees security, but the coalition government is reversing that policy in the name of electric buses and private operations.

Chandrasekhar Reddy demanded that the government immediately implement all promises made to employees and pensioners and clear all pending dues. If it fails to do so, employees, pensioners and their families across the State will join the people and teach the coalition government a fitting lesson, he warned.
