Chandrababu deteriorating democracy: Sajjala
02 Jun 2020 11:49 AM

Amaravati: Government Advisor (Public Affairs), Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy slammed TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu for politicizing all issues unmindful of the fact that he was a total failure in providing succor to the weaker sections during his 5-year tenure. He further stated that as many as 3.54 Crore people were benefited through the welfare schemes implemented by the State government in just one year, because of the commitment of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Speaking to media persons here on Monday, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said that mercantile nature Chandrababu Naidu was witnessed by the State public in the last five years and thus he was rejected. The policies taken by Naidu affected the livelihoods of many people and also put democracy at stake. While our Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is striving hard for the welfare of backward communities and weaker sections, Chandrababu is unleashing a venomous tirade against the government only to boost his political mileage.
He further said that opposition party is continuously filing petitions in court and pushing judiciary to involve with executive powers abiding the constitution. We agree State Election Commission is independent body but still should work along with State government. Everyone in the State witnessed monopoly play of Nimmagadda Ramesh during the local body elections and sent a letter to Centre accusing the State Government. Even the opposition TDP members are very much involved with the issue of SEC and backing Nimmagadda Ramesh. Chandrababu Naidu doesn't want elections in the State and deteriorating democracy.
Even today, Naidu with his evil intentions is creating hurdles in the path of development, by filing petitions and PILs in the High Court. Our Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has deep respect towards judiciary, which is why he didn't comment on any issue till date. After forming the government within one year, almost 90 percent of the election promises in the manifesto has been fulfilled. Our Chief Minister is the perfect example as a people’s leader, who works with commitment. Instead of taking on the challenges and working for the public, Naidu has thrown the State into a death trap.
