*YSRCP demands Justice for Dr Priyanka*

Tadepalli, August 20: The parents of Dr Priyanka met YSRCP President and former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at the party’s Central Office in Tadepalli and sought justice for their daughter’s death. YS Jagan assured them that the party would stand firmly with the family and pursue the matter legally until justice is delivered.

Former MPs Margani Bharat and Butta Renuka said Priyanka’s death in Rajahmundry was not a routine road accident but a brutal killing, pointing to claims that the car was reversed and driven over her three times. They demanded immediate disclosure of the call data records of those involved on the night of the incident, CCTV footage, details of those who provided shelter after the incident and a transparent investigation into the entire sequence of events.

They questioned why the case was initially registered under negligent driving provisions, why possible alcohol or drug consumption was not reflected in the FIR and why the concerned CI continued in the investigation despite serious doubts over the handling of the case. They demanded his immediate suspension.

The leaders said that if the State police failed to conduct an impartial probe, YSRCP would seek a CBI investigation and approach the High Court. They said the party would continue its legal and political fight until Priyanka’s family receives full justice.
