YSRCP slams Chandrababu for cheating people on poll promises

Tadepalli, June 21: YSRCP has slammed Chandrababu Naidu for his incoherent replies and authoritarian statements lacking substance, urging the people to claim their rightful share from his unfulfilled electoral promises.

Speaking to the media on Saturday, Party State Coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said Chandrababu has been deceiving the people while living in a virtual world, expecting them to become part of his make-believe reality.

He neither answers questions directly nor tolerates uncomfortable queries. He has betrayed the public by discontinuing existing welfare schemes and failing to implement the promised ones, which he described as an atrocious form of governance.

"This is precisely why our leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has urged people to download the coalition manifesto and question the government on its implementation," he added.

Farmers are not receiving MSP for any crop, and women, students, youth, and all sections of society are being cheated.

After YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s visits to Guntur Mirchi Yard and Podili Tobacco Centre, Chandrababu responded with a knee-jerk reaction, shifting blame to the Centre, which was nothing more than an eyewash.

Law and order have deteriorated, with police being misused to foist false cases against political adversaries. There is no safety for women and minors, as recent incidents in Kuppam and Tenali show the Chief Minister’s indifference.

The liquor scam is playing out like a soap opera, with a new character and fresh charges surfacing every day. In reality, Chandrababu Naidu is the main accused in the liquor scam that unfolded during his 2014 to 2019 term, and he is now trying to cover it up by concocting fresh distractions.

“It’s time for the people to redeem the bond of promises given by Naidu, with interest,” he said, adding that even on International Yoga Day, Chandrababu wore an expression that defied the very spirit of calmness.
