However, Varla Ramaiah conducted a press meet, deliberately displaying that placard to distort facts, attribute false intentions to the YSRCP, and malign the image and reputation of YS Jagan.
Tadepalli, Nov 23: YSRCP SC Cell Working President Kommoori Kanaka Rao has lodged a formal complaint at Tadepalli Police Station against TDP leader Varla Ramaiah for making defamatory and misleading allegations against YSR Congress Party and its President, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The complaint states that on November 20, when YS Jagan arrived at Begumpet Airport to appear before the CBI Court, thousands of admirers gathered to see him, and one individual displayed a personal placard.
However, Varla Ramaiah conducted a press meet, deliberately displaying that placard to distort facts, attribute false intentions to the YSRCP, and malign the image and reputation of YS Jagan.
Kanaka Rao stated that Ramaiah intentionally twisted a supporter’s personal opinion into an official party stance, spread fabricated narratives, and made derogatory remarks aimed at character assassination. He further alleged that edited clips of Ramaiah’s statements are being circulated widely on social media to intensify the misinformation campaign. Calling it a planned political conspiracy by the TDP to mislead the public, incite hatred, and damage YS Jagan’s credibility, Kanaka Rao urged the police to immediately register a case under relevant BNS sections, stop the malicious propaganda, and take strict legal action. Video evidence and supporting material were submitted along with the complaint.
