Rajahmundry, April 3: Ridiculing the celebrations on the Amaravati Bill, YSRCP has said concentrating all focus on the capital would put the future of the State in a vulnerable position.
Speaking to the media here on Friday, former MP Margani Bharath said focusing on Amaravati single-mindedly while ignoring other regions would push the State into debt and future generations would be badly affected.
Chandrababu has passed a resolution but failed to bring in any grant from the Centre. Instead of bringing grants, he is bringing loans and burdening the people of the State. Chandrababu also failed to bring adequate aid for Amaravati, which shows his priorities.
The State is being pushed into debt, and celebrations for Amaravati only show the commercial interests of Chandrababu and his coterie.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's Plan B of the Machilipatnam–Vijayawada–Guntur corridor was not given a thought, and Chandrababu has been pursuing his Amaravati agenda, which is not practical and only serves the real estate ambitions of his people.
The celebrations seem to be looking down on the rest of the State, he said.
