Tadepalli, April 3: YSRCP State Coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy held a teleconference with regional coordinators, district presidents, MLAs and key leaders and directed them to intensify outreach on key political and public issues, while strengthening organisational structure across the state.
He stated that the party had a clear stand on the capital issue and alleged that N. Chandrababu Naidu had no intention to complete Amaravati and was using it for financial exploitation. He said the growth corridor idea of Machilipatnam Vijayawada Guntur proposed by Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy was practical and affordable, and added that leaders should take this message to every village and expose the rising debts linked to Amaravati.
He expressed concern over the functioning of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams and alleged that the conduct of Chairman B. R. Naidu was affecting the sanctity of Tirumala. He instructed leaders to organise special prayers on April 4 in temples across constituencies and build pressure on the government for his removal.
Sajjala said party committees were nearing completion with a target of 18 lakh active members and asked leaders to ensure proper verification and digital coordination. He also directed focus on protecting voter lists and strengthening grassroots outreach.
He further asked leaders to highlight issues like Aarogyasri disruptions, fee reimbursement delays and irrigation concerns including Polavaram and Rayalaseema projects. He called for visits to ports and preparedness for municipal elections, urging coordinated efforts to strengthen the party statewide.
