YSRCP to launch statewide agitation on Sep 9

Tadepalli, September 5: YSRCP State Coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy announced that the party will launch a statewide agitation on September 9, exposing the Chandrababu-led coalition government’s betrayal of farmers.
Rallies will be taken to all RDO offices across the state, culminating in the submission of petitions demanding immediate redressal of farmers’ grievances.
He appealed to senior leaders to actively participate, following party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s directive.
Highlighting the crisis, Sajjala said farmers are suffering due to the artificial shortage of urea, denial of remunerative prices, pending crop insurance claims, non-payment of compensation, and failures in implementing Rythu Bharosa. Instead of addressing these issues, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has responded with arrogance, belittling farmers’ struggles and shielding the black-market mafia controlling fertilizer supplies.
“Under YS Jagan’s government, farmers were never made to face such ordeals—insurance premiums were paid by the government, compensation was delivered on time, and urea was available without black marketing. But today, the government has collapsed into inefficiency and betrayal,” he asserted.
Sajjala further condemned the move to privatize 10 government medical colleges, calling it a betrayal of YS Jagan’s vision of affordable healthcare. Senior leaders will visit these colleges to register protests against privatization.
