Tadepalli, June 23: The YSR Congress Party conducted its Panchayati Raj state-level committee meeting at the party’s central office in Tadepalli under the leadership of Panchayati Raj Wing State President Vennapusa Ravindra Reddy. The meeting was attended by state committee members, district and assembly segment presidents, and other key leaders.
During the session, Party State Coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy highlighted the critical importance of the Panchayati Raj Wing in strengthening the party’s foundation. He said that in the past, YSRCP’s united efforts helped secure massive victories in local body elections, sometimes even exceeding assembly-level support. He reminded that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had consistently stressed the need to empower the Panchayati Raj structure to maintain the party’s strength at the grassroots level.
Sajjala urged the cadre to actively expose the failures of the coalition government. He pointed out the alarming rise in public debt to Rs 1.67 lakh crore in just one year and accused the government of land grabbing in Amaravati and looting funds under the name of mobilization advances. He warned that governance has collapsed, law and order is deteriorating, and welfare schemes are being ignored.
The meeting focused on completing committee formations across levels to mobilize an 18-lakh-strong active force. Sajjala called on members to use technology to spread awareness and build a strong voice for the party across the state, with the ultimate goal of bringing YS Jagan Mohan Reddy back as Chief Minister.
