YSRCP condemns false cases and Human Rights violations
26 May 2025 6:15 PM

Tadepalli, May 26: The YSRCP Legal Cell, led byState President Manohar Reddy, strongly condemned the misuse of legal
processes and the
escalating human rights violations in Andhra Pradesh. The authorities have unjustly targeted YSRCP leaders with baseless cases, notably against Kakani Govardhan Reddy, who faces fabricated charges despite the Rustum Mica Mines case beingclosed long ago. A fresh complaint, backed by a mining DD, was filed, andnon-bailable sections were added to his case to obstruct his bail prospects, even though the High Court granted bail to the primary accused and two others. This deliberate misuse of law to arrest Kakani under false pretenses is a clear attempt to suppress political opposition.
In Palnadu, the narrative around two TDP members’ deaths has been distorted.Yellow media and TDP leaders have falsely implicated YSRCP leader Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy and his brother, despite evidence from an eyewitness and the district SP confirming TDP involvement in the killings. Such baseless accusations against the Pinnelli brothers are a calculated move to deflect accountability. Similarly, inJangareddygudem, naturaldeaths are being maliciously framed as casualties of spurious liquor, with a laboratory’s name misused to spread false propaganda. These actions reveal a pattern of misinformation and political vendetta.
The state’s law-and-order situation has deteriorated alarmingly, with women and children increasingly vulnerable. In Tenali, three Dalit youths were brutally assaulted by police in broad daylight, showcasing a blatant disregard for legal and judicial accountability. The YSRCP Legal Cell will lodge a formal complaint with the Human Rights Commission to address this rampant violation of human rights across Andhra Pradesh.
We demand immediate action to stop these injustices, ensure accountability for false cases, and restore safety and dignity for all citizens.
