YSRCP celebrates Gandhi Jayanthi; extends Vijayadashami greetings

Tadepalli, October 2:YSR Congress Party celebrated Vijayadashami, Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti and former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti at the party central office in Tadepalli. The event was led by MLC and office in-charge Lella Appi Reddy in the presence of former minister Velampalli Srinivas, former MLA Malladi Vishnu, YSRCP Publicity Wing President Kakumanu Rajasekhar, SC Cell Working President Kanakarao, Employees & Pensioners Welfare Association President Nalamuru Chandrasekhar Reddy and several leaders.

The program began with a puja to Goddess Kanaka Durga, followed by floral tributes to Gandhi and Shastri. Leaders recalled their services to the nation and criticized the coalition government for dismantling systems of grassroots governance within 16 months, contrasting it with Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s efforts to realize Gandhi’s dream of Gram Swaraj through village and ward secretariats.

Lella Appi Reddy said Gandhi’s path of non-violence guided YS Jagan in his struggles, while Shastri’s slogan Jai Jawan Jai Kisan inspired pro-farmer policies. Malladi Vishnu stressed that there is no weapon greater than non-violence. Velampalli Srinivas noted that YSRCP governance ensured welfare without discrimination, true to Shastri’s ideals.
On this occasion, YSRCP extended Vijayadashami greetings to the people of Andhra Pradesh.
