*YSR, YS Jagan gave recognition to Sagara community*

Tadepalli, April 23: YSRCP stated that the Sagara community received political recognition and encouragement only during the leadership of Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy and Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and both leaders played a key role in uplifting the community and giving them representation.

The remarks were made during the celebrations of Maharshi Bhagiratha Jayanti held at the YSRCP central office in Tadepalli. Leaders paid floral tributes to Bhagiratha Maharshi and recalled his determination and sacrifice in bringing the Ganga to earth for the welfare of mankind.

 They said similar commitment and dedication were seen in the governance of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, especially in implementing welfare schemes and reforms in education, healthcare, and agriculture.

Sagara community leader and former chairman of Durga Malleswara Swamy Devasthanam, Karnati Rambabu, said that YSR had given an opportunity to Tatishetty Venkata Rao as an MLA, while YS Jagan Mohan Reddy appointed him as temple chairman, showing support to the community.

MLC Lella Appi Reddy said that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had a special concern for the Sagara community and ensured their political participation.

Leaders criticized the coalition government led by N. Chandrababu Naidu, stating that it is ignoring the community and treating them only as a vote bank. They expressed hope that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy would return to power and continue supporting the Sagara community.
